Our Purpose
Why We Built souQsy
We didn't build souQsy because we spotted a gap in the market. We built it because we had a dress that never got worn again.
One gown, worn once, then folded away. It wasn't the dress. There was nowhere to put it back into the world. We tried the apps everyone tries, and modest pieces got lost in a feed built for something else entirely. Nobody built a place where the right buyer finds the right seller.
One Gown, More Than One Life
We're part of the overconsumption problem too. Buy for one occasion, wear once, move on. souQsy is how we hold ourselves accountable: buy with intention, use what we already own.
Your gown, your abaya, your hijab deserve a second life instead of a single wear.
Why souQsy
The name comes from souk, the traditional marketplace where people have bought, sold, and traded for generations. We wanted something that felt like your own souq: souQsy.
Built on Trust, Not Just Inventory
A resale marketplace is worthless if you can't trust what's arriving. Every listing shows the piece from every angle, flaws included. We'd rather lose a listing than lose your trust.
No listing fees. No subscription. List your piece and let the right buyer find it.
Buy, Sell, Modestly
souQsy exists so no dress sits unworn in a closet when someone out there is looking for exactly that.
